I Hate the Mall
Went to the mall today to have lunch with my old boss Donna. Boy does the mall suck. All the rich people are out in their big ass SUV's. It literally took me 30 minutes to find a place to park. When I was younger I actually worked at the mall and loved it. I don't know what happened but I think it is the damn Anti Christ now. I feel like I have been beat up. All the people and the walking.Then I go to buy my daughter some new shoes because she has a pair that I bought not too long ago that have a velcro strap and of course she takes them off abut 100 times a day and the ladies at her daycare HATE them and have been bitching about them for weeks. I went into the Stride Rite store and noticed that they sell Stride Rite shoes, KEDS which is what she has always worn and Sketchers. I ask her politely why they sell these other brands because I overheard the clerk telling a woman how other shoes suck total ass and that they don't believe in what other shoes stand for. She says to me well we have to sell other styles because I mean an older kid doesn't want to wear the (Stride Rites) She said that they have to have variety and that they only carry the other brands in bigger sizes. So that is when I showed her the Ked that I had in my hand which they sell in a size 4 which is LITTLE feet people. She goes oh yeh well that is the only one we sell in a size 4, by this time the other clerk chick had chimed in and told me how if you put other shoes on your child other than Stride Rite you will burn in eternal hell. And you know what, I fell for it and walked out of the store with a pair of Stride Rite shoes which I paid about 45 bucks for.
First time parents are such idiots. Including myself.
On top of this my daycare director just called and said that my daughter has broken out in some unusual rash. It doesn't get any better than my life people. It really doesn't.
