It's A Girl
Today at work we had a baby shower for my very good friend Nikki. She is about 30 weeks pregnant now and has had a very tough pregnancy. She is pregnant with twins and her and her husband know for sure that one of their baby girls will not make it much past delivery and know that they will only come home with 1 little girl. But Gracie the other twin is fine and hopefully they will take her home with them from the hospital when they leave. This is her first biological child although she has a girl Haley that she adopted. Her husband Greg also has a 5 year old little boy (Sam) that they are in a custody battle with his ex wife over. So not only have they been dealing with the pregnancy but with that also. They have had such and awful and terrible pregnancy and it has been so hard and she has been sick and miserable and she is ready for it to be over. I am so happy for the both of them and just wanted to post about my happiness. Nikki has been so strong throughout this whole thing and even though she knows the outcome will be bitter sweet she has remained upbeat and positive. She has been extrodinary! I am positive that she will be a great mom and I just wanted her to know that! We have only become good friends in the last several months and I am so glad we did.More shit later!
