To Pee Pee or Not to Pee Pee

Ok. My daughter likes to follow me to the potty when I go and play with the toilet paper role, my hair brush, etc. I never think one thing about letting her in there with me b/c I like to tell her how I am pee peeing and she always says "PEE PEE, PEE PEE". It is just natural to let your kids watch you pee right?

The question I have is..and excuse my stupidassness but I just thought to myself when my husband just went to pee and she followed him also..is that appropriate? I mean to let her watch him pee?

Will she go to daycare and stand up and pull down her pants and pretend to hold her wee wee that she doesn't have and pee all in the floor? When I buy her a potty to potty train her will she stand up and try to piss in it?

Ahh...the senarios that run through my mind...

My ex at work husband that I talked about in previous posts was gone to Iraq for 15 months..well when he returned to his wife and 3 year old son he said that his son had started sitting down to pee AND using toilet paper to dab his wee wee when he was finished b/c that is what he had seen his mommy do for the last year. This totally freaked him out and he immediatley began to retrain him the proper way a real manly man should take a pee.

So see it can happen. I don't want her to get confused.

Well damn, I guess no one thought that post was interesting did they? I was trying to be funny but I guess I forgot to take my pill that day!

I think it's hilarious! My ex was so uptight that he never peed in front of me - let alone my daughter, so that was never an issue.

I bet your ex was mortified when he saw how his son was peeing! OMG!

Yes, my ex at work husband was freaking out about his "BOY" sitting down to pee and patting his penis with toilet paper. I have to say I think that might have freaked me out a bit too.
