Warning...More Ranting...
I am sorry I didn't post yesterday! I was sooo damn sick it was unreal. I have managed to go to work all week even though I felt like hammered ass. I am feeling better today but still not 100% and I am full of sinus medicine/nose spray etc so excuse me if this is dumb but I didn't want you guys to forget about me....so, shut up and listen.It has been a pretty shitty week at my house. For one, I have been sick which hardly ever happends but boy did it kick my ass this time. Two, the kids got report cards..that one is pretty self explanatory. Every 6th weeks it is the same shit. Where I come from it is totally not acceptable to not finish school or fail a grade..to them..I guess they don't give a shit. So, I am sure I will be spending what's suppose to be MY summer vacation taking their asses to summer school so they can advance to the next grade. I envy all of you who have kids that do well in school. I can only hope McKenna does well when her time comes because I don't think I can deal with this shit again.
Anyway, sorry about that rant. But here is another!
We found out this morning at my place of employment that we have an ex client who tried to blackmail us into using his services by saying that he hacked into our systems. Although I cannot tell you what I do b/c I am not that stupid (dooce) but I can tell you that it is VERY important SHIT that goes on here. Anyway, he said that he hacked into our systems here but has provided us no proof or evidence that he did. When he hacked in we ask him how he did it and he would not tell us of course because he said that if we wanted to know that we would have to buy his services. Sooo...we told him to fuck off..he is a 1 man company and he is about 21 years old and a total dickface. Once we told him NO we didn't want his shit and he refused to show us proof that he did this he decided he would get "even" and post an official article on the internet about our company and how he hacked our shit for all to see. We terminated his services at this point and told him we could no longer allow him to use our services. So, here we are..going back and forth on what we should say if a customer calls and this and that. Boy, this is going to make my job a lot fucking harder for a while. At least until our official press release comes out regarding his bullshit statements. I have a hard enough time as it is without more bad publicity. Some dickhead has to come along and make my job harder b/c he is $$ hungry. My companies reputation is on the line. I actually really like my job and would prefer that I keep it. My boss just called us in his office to update us on the situation. His exact words were that this could turn into "nothing" or this could really get out there and turn into something "horrible" for us.
