Hurricanes SUCK HORSE ASS
Well I have been mounted in front of the TV all weekend watching the hurricane come ashore in my FAVORITE fucking city of New Orleans. I love New Orleans, it is fabulous. The food, the atmosphere, LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. Plus Mr. Pissy actually proposed to me there right by the river which is FLOODED like a motherfucker right now.I was glued to the TV all weekend watching The Weather Channel to see what the fate of this favorite place o'mine would be. It is not looking good. By the time Katrina reaches Nashville she will still be a Tropical Storm so it is not going to be so fun around here tomorrow and Wednesday. Luckily it is suppose to be CLEAR by Thursday at 4:00pm when my flight leaves for California.
I have some weird obsession with weather. I love to keep up with it and visit weather.com, accuweather.com more that I would like to admit. My TV literally did not move all weekend. That is until the MTV VMA's last night. My new obession is 50 Cent's bi-ceps and The Killers. I fucking love The Killers. Did anyone else watch? What did you think?

Pissy, I will talk to the powers that be and make sure that weather is cleared out of there before your flight to Cali.

RSG, I was living in HOMESTEAD during Andrew. You're right...it did suck.
As of Saturday night, I now have 5 refugess plus one cat, all straight outta New Orleans. (College friends who called me Saturday morning to see if they could indefinately.) My in-laws have 5 more refugess at their house and their neighbor has 10. Every single hotel room in Houston is filled to the rim with New Orleans residents. Yikes!!!
Anywho, we were all GLUED to CNN all freakin night, watching their houses get swept away, so I felt bad about 3 seconds after I suggested that we change the channel to MTV so that I could get me some Kanye West/Jaime Foxx action. OH well...I guess I'll catch the VMA re-runs...they'll probably replay it about 100 times.-

oh if you like the killers you might also wanna go listen to billy talent. Here in montreal we never have hurricanes. Hmmm i hope i did not just jinx us.
