Ugh, sorry you're having such a shitty ass week. I don't know what's up with your step-daughter, but I hope the therapy helps, and sometimes a little pharmaceutical intervention doesn't hurt either. I'm sorry you don't have your mom here to help you, either. That would suck big time. ((((BIG))))

I'm sorry about the kids getting in trouble. Your stepdaughter is obviously going through a hard time and it's great that you are getting her some help. Kami is right, she may need some pharmaceutical help as well. It must be so hard on her to have lost her mom as well.

Well I would take a picture of my big girl panties but I threw them all away. They were my pregnant panties. Of course my ass in still big enough in RL to scare the holy hell outta you.

Definitely go the therapy route with your stepdaughter, and make sure that you include some family sessions as well so that you get some helpful ideas on what to do with her.

Ha..she would be so embarrassed if she knew you guys said she was beautiful. She was such a small town girl. Never heard her say anything about herself. I threw away my big girl panties for just today. I have had enough.
My daughter just threw up all over the place..guess now she has some kind of stomach bug.

I am so sorry you're going through this!!! No, not everyone goes through this much shit on a neverending basis, Pissy, and you have every right to be distressed (at least). Two kids in trouble at school??!! And no wonder you miss your mom at a time like this...you NEED a mom at a time like this, and most people have access to that necessity. And that you have the strength to blog about it is totally amazing! Also amazing is you're absolutely doing the very best thing you can do to get help for your step-daughter...most people think they should fix it themselves or whatever stoopid things they think, but you know she needs professional help. Look at all the extra energy/expense this is for you and Mr. Pissy! You amaze me.

You and Mr. Pissy and the kids are definitely in my prayers and thoughts.

Hi Pissy. I'm so sorry that you're dealing with all these feelings about your Mom. A very good friend of ours lost her Mom when she was twelve(her Dad died when she was nine), and we have been with her as she goes through the milestones in her life without her Mother. I know this isn't an easy time, but I know that you're a very strong woman and you'll make it through.

BTW....your Mom was beautiful. (you guys look alot alike)
