These Are The Days of My Life..PART FUCKING 2
Well, after all my rants and bitchin in the last post guess where we spent most of last night??? Yep, you got it..the emergency room. McKenna is 2 and this was our first trip. She has some sort of terrible stomach flu which made her vomit so many times yesterday it was ridiculous. She was so dehydrated she didn't wet a diaper for almost 12 hours. They pumped her full of fluids via an IV which was the hardest thing I have ever had to watch. Especially since they missed the first time and had to do it all over again. They also did Xrays which was another horrific experience. My child finally collasped in my arms she was so tired. Luckily she slept the whole time they were pumping the fluid in her and even better they sent us home after that.
THEN, on top of all this my sister in law got a call from Mr. Pissy's ex wife last night. First time anyone has heard from her in about a year. She called and left a message so my sister and law tried to call her back at the number she called from. Well the call wouldn't go thru so my husband works for the phone company and looked up the number and of course it was the County Jail. She was picked up Saturday night on drug charges and has a 20,000.00 bond. So, she was calling the SIL to get bailed out of jail. If she can't find anyone to bond her out her court date is not until Dec. 20th where she will then spend at least another year in the slammer.
Ahhh...what the fuck. What the fuck, what the fuck, what the fuck. This is my life...

Oh, man taking babies to the ER sucks. Glad they got her on the road to recovery.
On the ex issue, personally I'd probably let her have some time to 'think' in the jail.-

poor you, takin' lil ones to the ER does suck! Been there with the botched IV too, didja wanna rip out the nurse's eyeballs or what? maybe that is just me....
oh, and the ex, yah I'd let her sit too, but then, I don't know her and all....:)-

I was in that same ER at 1 in the morning on Jan 1. 2000. I was the sickest i have EVER FUCKING been! UGHHHHH-

The ER trip sounds just awful! Glad the little one is on the road to recovery.
I don't know the situation but I figure if you leave her in until Dec 20, she'll have had enough time to detox and maybe take a long look at her situation.-

sorry about the ER trip...omg...an iv and then they missed??? i would have freaked out...hope she gets better soon...
and as for the ex...let her sit there...but thats just me...and i am a bitch like that... :)

sorry lil miss pissy was sick. it's always hard to watch them poke 'em for any reason. i hope she's feeling much better today and shove some popsicles down her throat-kids love that they can eat as many as they want during this time.
as far as the hubby's ex? let her sit, sober/clean up her act. maybe that's why the step daughter is acting out-because of her mom. i dont know....for 20,000.00 bond-oh i'd let her sit...for a year..or way more!-

Glad lil Miss Pissy is doing better. You were very brave Steph, I'm proud of you! Unfortunately this probably won't be the first time you have her in the emergency room, so I guess just try to look at it that you got the first one out of the way!
RE: the ex. She needs to be sent to State or Federal prison so that she will finally get the help that she needs. That woman needs to get into rehab in a big, bad way, and the county facilities aren't set up to help her.
I hope the older kids don't know their mom is in jail.

They know that she was last year b/c she mailed them letters.
They know she is sick. They know she is a drug addict..b/c she was when she lived with them.-

Like RSG said, (dear god, I say that ALL the time huh?) she needs help.
I hope she gets it in time to be a parent to her kids later in life.
