Cute as shit

Well, a girl still has to put her plastic high heels on after a long day of Easter egg hunting and eating pizza and parties. She is striking a pose just for ya'll bitches.
It is nice that my $200 a week for daycare goes for some fun. Except they made parents give $3 per child for pizza and bring 24 pre filled Easter eggs. (Not that I am complaining because it was well worth it to see all the smiling faces and excitement, but it looks like $200 a week when there are 16 kids in her class would buy some pizza. $200x16=a lot of fucking money)
Once again, I am amazed at the difference from 1 to 2 years old. She is all about the Easter Bunny just like she was all about Santa. Too much fucking fun is what she is. And sweet as pie and stubborn as shit.
Me: "McKenna, your stubborn"
McKenna: "No I'm not. I not stubborn MOMMA"
Yeh, there's my proof.
I missed that Easter party today, that made Pissy very, very PISS-I-ER.
I will never miss another moment like that again if I can help it. Ever. You are my witness.
Work can wait and if it won't wait well then fuck it... making those kind of memories can't.

So glad to see that little PB in some heels.
$200 a fucking week? Holy hell.- Summer commented at 6:36 AM~
I had to miss a moment in TYM's life years ago because no one would fill in for me at work. I swore it wouldn't happen again. Just recently the fates tested me and I stood my ground when my supervisor said, "I'll try to give you the time off." I stood there and said, "I'm going, whether I get the time off or not." I went.

You're right. Life is too fucking short to miss out on priceless moments.

$200.00 a week? Jeeez!
Try not to sweat missing the party......it happens that way sometimes no matter what you try to do about it, and it SUCKS I know!- Well-heeled mom commented at 9:37 AM~
That has got to be one of the things I'm missing most by not having a girl - passing on my love of fashionable footwear. However, the boy is doing his best to pacify me by wearing mine anytime he can. Hubs is a little worried...
I waited a long damn time to become a mom. When the boy came home from Guatemala, I made it very clear that he came first, and it's never been challenged. Of course, my reputation as the bitch precedes me. Ha. Stand your ground!!!

I will NOT tell you what I make as a nanny. You might kill yourself. That kid is too freaking cute. Seriously. Don't beat yourself up for missing the party. You can't be there for EVERYTHING and it's so hard to know what is going to be important and what's not. Just do your best, Pissy... that's all you can do. You're a fabulous momma. :-)

Charlotte-Yes, I am sure I would.
But it doesn't matter b/c we are not rich or I would have a nanny.
I have to put my kid in daycare like most other moms that work.
200 a week is VERY expensive in this part of the country for daycare. My best friend pays half that per week in my home town. It all depends on where you live.- dashababy commented at 10:44 AM~
What a cutie. She looks more and more like her momma everyday.
Good for you for realizing that this shit is just too important to miss out on. I'm telling you it flies by and if this is the only baby you're gonna have, savor every fucking minute.
Happy Easter Pissy, xoxoxoxox- Charlotte in Pa commented at 2:16 PM~
Pissy! I hope you didn't think I was giving you a hard time. $200 is a lot where I'm from, too. (in Michigan) I'm just saying... out here in Philly, where people keep inventing ways to spend their money, I get paid a lot. You're right - it DOES depend on where you live. (although most people here who have nannies have 2 parents who work, too - there aren't a lot of stay-at-home moms with nannies) Anyway - I wasn't criticizing you AT ALL... I was just saying you'd probably freak if you knew how much people with tons of money pay. I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings.

Omg, she does have hair. I love her ponytail, has it been that long since I saw her? Damn, time flys.
Oh, you got to go read me. You won't believe the shit that went down last night.....or you can call, whichever's good for you.- Pissy Britches commented at 4:44 PM~
Charlotte-No girlfrin, you didn't offend me at all.
I just know that daycare is a lot more expensive in other places than it is here.
Sorry if I came off bitchy there..I didn't mean too.
