A little good news, and a little news, news...
Well, good news to report from Pissy's camp.She passed the 7th grade. AND, no summer school. It is a fucking miracle if I ever saw one.
In other news.
Most of you know we have always had an issue getting McKenna to gain weight. She was a little bit of 3 whole pounds when she was born. She has weighed the same for at least a year. She is growing and fine but just skinny as shit.
At her 2 year check up her Dr. was a little concerned b/c she hadn't gained anything. She was stuck at 25 pounds. So he requested we bring her back in in 6 months so he could see how she was progressing.
I took her today. She now weighs 26 pounds and will be 3 in 2 months.
Shit.
He didn't seem concerned. She is in the 10th percentile and said as long as she isn't losing any weight them it is all good.
So, that is that. I am not going to worry myself to death anymore. I feed her. I promise I do.
Gran Sissy is coming to spend the night tomorrow with Bobby the Shit Tanker Guy.
That should be a blast.

Mine is a tiny thing too and it IS worrisome. Glad the doc didn't give you shit about it.
Oh I thought I saw the Star Of Bethlehem shining above TN - so THAT is what the miracle was :) I'm so happy to hear it. Hopefully she will actually WANT to do better next year.

Pissy, I spoke too soon. She was just out of town, but I see she logged on from The Beach Club tonight. I guess my little problem hasn't gone away yet.

You need to take that lil girl to McD's and get her some chicken nuggets for one hand and some fries for the other.

If you're really worried you could try some of those high calorie drinks like Ensure. They make them for kids too, but I can't remember the name. I just violated Tina's Rule. Sorry. I'm sure she is just fine. I do know she's absolutely beautiful!

and we've seen the pix - it's obvious that Lil' Miss Pissy is very well cared for, so it's good the doc didn't give you shit about it. She's a gorgeous little kid, and one of these days she'll start chowin' down and grow so fast that you'll have to return any clothes/shoes you buy before you leave the store ;)

Goodness I wish I had that problem, didnt gain weight but was still healthy. I just gain weight!
Dont worry she will be fine, my neice is 17 and she has always been tiny. She still is petite. She could not gain weight for the life of her!-

Miss Pissy will be JUST FINE. My son was a skinny little runt until 2nd grade. I can't seem to slow him DOWN now lol. She appears healthy, and as long as she hasn't LOST weight she should be just fine, momma.

Yea on the big kid.
I like how peds try to scare parents with that "failure to thrive" shit. My kid has never had that problem with his 80%+ self, but... She's fine. She walks, talks, eats, etc. Don't worry. She's just petite.
