Fingers Crossed..........TIGHTLY
For a while now Mr. Pissy has been quite unhappy at his current job. He has been there for about 7 years and it is just kinda wearing him down. If you know my husband you know that not much of anything wears him down. He is the most positive, level headed person I know...(I on the other hand am exactly the opposite)Being in the industry he is in and being in it for so long he just knows people, important people..so I told him to start talking to others and see if he could find something else that would make him get out of his "pissy" state of mind. He was very weary of this suggesstion b/c of the current funds he is pulling in at the current job and didn't think it would be possible to find anything with an increase in those funds..if you get my drift.
Low and behold he was wrong and I was right for once. He approached one of the vendors he has worked with for years a couple of weeks ago and was instantaniously given a 1st interview..well you know that whole process goes..BLAH. I hate fucking interviews. But of course he made a fabulous 1st impression and they immediately invited him back this week for a 2nd interview with the President of the company and the other ass kissers. That 2nd interview was Wednesday. It lasted 3 hours. Yesterday he received a call stating that he would have an offer in his inbox last night so last night we waited and waited and refreshed the screen 500 times...at 9:30 last night we still had NOTHING..
So I went on to bed instructing him to wake me up if he got ANYTHING at all from this guy.
Sure enough he comes in and grabs my face and says what they offered him which is DOUBLE what he is making currently with all the same other benefits that he has now minus a few unimportant things.
I have never in my life seen him so excited. He does not show a lot of emotion EVER so it was just great to see him like this. He was smiling from ear to ear.
On another note..I have made 2 appt's this week to go test drive 2 cars that I really really wanted really really bad.
The 1st appt. was set for Thursday at 11:30..
I just happened to go to the web site and noticed that the car was no longer on the web site.
I called and found out the car sold the night before.
Did anyone bother to call and tell me that? Fuck no. Fuckers.
The 2nd appt. was set for today at 11:30.
I had already warned this dude that I was pissed off and he better not try to fuck with me.
I received a call last night from dude at the dealership saying that someone had it out for a test drive and would be keeping it over night.
WTF is up with this. If I didn't want this particular car, model, etc then they would be sitting around EVERYWHERE. But no, since Pissy decided she wants one everyone in this area is no where to be found.
Fucking frustrating is what it is.
Anyways, please keep your fingers crossed TIGHTLY for us.
This is huge in the Pissy Britches household.

You will probably think it's stupid, but I am in tears reading this. Not sad tears, but tears of joy. You see, my hubby is going through the exact same shit right now and was just called in for a second interview. It sounds promising considering they are wanting to fly him in from out of town to meet with the execs.
